Nancy Bauer
  NANCY BAUER is in the Philosophy Department at Tufts University, where she teaches courses in the history of European philosophy, feminism, film, and ethics. Her scholarly work focuses on the relationship between academic philosophy and everyday life, particularly as this relationship is distilled in contemporary feminism. She is the author of Simone de Beauvoir, Philosophy, and Feminism and is currently working on a manuscript called How to Do Things With Pornography. Bauer has been a Fellow at the Radcliffe Institute and was the recipient of the 2001-2002 Professor of the Year award at Tufts.
