  HUAJING XIU MASKE is a China scholar who received her Ph.D. in Art HIstory from Oxford where she studied the development of Western-style painting in early- to mid-20th-century China. She has published on China's art, lectured extensively, and conducted research at the Fairbanks Center at Harvard University.
