  RICHARD THOMAS is the George Matin Lane Professor of the Classics at Harvard University & JOHN RADOSTA teaches English at Milton High School, Milton MA _____________Richard is a Senior Professor of Latin and has published extensively on the classical poets. His, recent book, Why Bob Dylan Matters (2017), shows in his later albums, Dylan's direct connection to the classical Greek and Roman poet-performers--Ovid, Homer, Virgil Horace, and Catullus. ___________John is a novelist and author of many short stories and a long time Dylan observer and veteran of nearly 50 Bob Dylan concerts. He is the co-author of the recently published Bob Dylan in Performance: Song, Stage and Screen (2018), an in-depth look at Dylan the performer and the link of his performances to the historical bardic role, American popular song tradition, and rock music culture.
