Diane Moore
  DIANE L. MOORE is a Senior Scholar at the Center for the Study of World Religions and Senior Lecturer in Religious Studies and Education at the Harvard Divinity School. She focuses her research on enhancing the public understanding of religion with a special emphasis on the roles that religions play in contemporary global affairs. She is the director of the Religious Literacy Project, coordinator for the Religious Studies and Education Certificate, and serves on the editorial boards of the journals Religion and Education and the British Journal of Religious Education. Moore is the author of Overcoming Religious Illiteracy (Palgrave, 2007) and served as the chair of the American Academy of Religion's Task Force on Religion in the Schools, which conducted a three-year initiative to establish guidelines for teaching about religion in K-12 public schools. She is a 2014 recipient of the Petra T. Shattuck Excellence in Teaching Award from the Harvard Extension School and was a 2006-07 co-recipient of the Outstanding Teacher Award at the Harvard Divinity School
