Susan Lanser
  SUE LANSER is Professor of Comparative Literature, English, and Women’s and Gender Studies and Head of the Division of Humanities at Brandeis University. A specialist in European culture and history of the late eighteenth century, she studies and teaches the Age of Revolution. She has published books and essays on topics ranging from sexuality to the politics of the novel to the fate of Marie Antoinette. She has been a fellow at the Folger Library and the Radcliffe Institute and recently received a Mellon Foundation grant to develop, with her colleague Jane Kamensky, a faculty seminar focused on the American, French, and Haitian revolutions.
