Tommie Shelby
  TOMMIE SHELBY is John L. Loeb Associate Professor of the Social Sciences at Harvard University, where he teaches philosophy, black political thought, and social theory. He is the author of We Who Are Dark: The Philosophical Foundations of Black Solidarity (Harvard University Press, 2005) and coeditor (with Derrick Darby) of Hip Hop and Philosophy: Rhyme 2 Reason (Open Court, 2005). He is also coeditor of the magazine Transition.
