Kelly A. McLaughlin is an Associate Professor of Biology at Tufts University where she teaches several courses including: Cells and Organisms, Seminar in Cell Signaling – Life, Death, & Disease, and Experiments in Cell Biology. She received her Ph.D. in Molecular and Cellular Biology from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, and is a recipient of distinguished teaching awards from Harvard University/Radcliffe College and the University of Massachusetts. The research conducted in her laboratory focuses on examining the molecular mechanisms used to create embryonic organs (cell signaling pathways involved with mediating cellular behaviors such as migration, differentiation, proliferation, & death). |
