  Nadine Berenguier
   
  NADINE BERENGUIER received her Ph.D. in French from Stanford University in 1988. She then joined the faculty of Harvard University where she taught courses in French eighteenth-century literature. Since 1995, she has been on the faculty at the University of New Hampshire. Her research concerns eighteenth-century French literature and culture. She is the author of L'Infortune des alliances (1995) and recently of Conduct Books for Girls in Enlightenment France (2011). She has also published many articles on eighteenth-century women writers.
