SHARMILA SEN, General Editor for the Humanities at Harvard University Press, received her B.A. from Harvard and her Ph.D. from Yale. Prior to joining HUP in 2006, she was an assistant professor of English at Harvard with specialization in anglophone literatures from Africa, South Asia, and the Caribbean. She has published articles on African, Caribbean, and South Asian literature, as well as on popular Indian cinema. Sharmila and her husband live in Cambridge with their daughter Ishani and sons, Milan and Kabir. |
