	BARBARA CARLSON is an independent scholar, lifelong teacher, and a TAS Program Associate. She is currently teaching Proust’s In Search of Lost Time at the Harvard Institute for Learning in Retirement where she has also taught courses in Joyce's Ulysses, William Faulkner, and African Literature.
